Started in 1982 by local residents on a dare, this annual ritual draws hundreds of participants and thousands of onlookers each year and has become a destination spot for New Years Day! There is no cost to take the plunge, but registration is encouraged because people who do so receive an official “I Took The Plunge” certificate and hot beverages. Come join hundreds of people from all over the Pacific Northwest to be part of this annual tradition!
