Bellis Fair Mall
Only a half a mile from Oxford Suites, Bellis Fair Mall includes five major department stores- Macy’s, Kohl’s, Old Navy and Target; and nearly 150 smaller shops (including Gap, Victoria Secret, and Forever 21). Features a six-plex theater, a food court with 16 vendors, and an Old Country Buffet.

Downtown Bellingham
Enjoy a traditional downtown district with cultural flair. Downtown Bellingham features specialty shops, antiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants.  Shops include Michael’s Books, The Greenhouse, Allied Arts of Whatcom County and Bella Flora. The Bellingham Farmers’ Market is on Saturdays. On James Street find VIS Seafoods, Hardware Sales and Trader Joe’s.

Meridian Street (Guide Meridian) 
Running adjacent to Bellis Fair Mall, this major arterial offers local and nationally recognized stores and restaurants such as Costco, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, DeWaard and Bode, and Best Buy. Also, for the finest hand-crafted chocolate visit Chocolate Necessities.

Historic Fairhaven District
Tucked into turn-of-the-century buildings with classic brick facades, find upscale galleries, clothing, jewelry,  books, gifts and some of Bellingham’s best restaurants. Don’t miss Bead Bazaar; Paper Dreams; Good Earth Pottery; Gallery West and Village Books.

Sunset Square 
Features K-Mart, Joann’s Fabrics, grocery store, drug store, four-plex theater, a Goodwill and several specialty shops. There are a variety of restaurants including The Grace Cafe. Across the street is Lowe’s.

Barkley Village 
A newer shopping village which brings “a little bit of old-world charm” through its architectural design. The plaza features specialty shops, a fine grocery store with a food court and wine shop. In addition, there are unique restaurants including Scotty Brown’s and Jalapenos, and a 16-plex movie theater with Imax.

Downtown Ferndale 
Samuels’s, a major furniture store, and locally-owned shops line Ferndale’s Main Street and the seasonal Farmers’ Market is on Saturdays. Red Barn Lavender is located just west of town.

Downtown Lynden
Front Street in downtown Lynden highlights its Dutch heritage with Dutch-style architecture. The Jansen Art Center, bakeries, restaurants, an exceptional museum, antique shops and frequent events makes a day in Lynden delightful. Just out of town is the Samson Estates Winery featuring fine wines and liqueurs.

Birch Bay Square
